Current Project: Cost Tracking System
A business based in Nottinghamshire with offices in Newark and Bracknell asked us to look into the possibility of producing a complete software suite to help them improve their existing project management systems.
The company produces transport information and suggestions for local authorities to help them improve traffic flow around towns and cities. The system we proposed and are now working on allows them to track costs throughout the entire life of a project, from the intial quote to the final invoice.
The system will have the following features:
- Quote Calculation.
- 'Digital Timesheets' for staff members with numerous tracking and reporting features.
- A purchase order and tracking system to trace items ordered against a particular job.
- Cost tracking for general expenses such as traveling, overnight stays and meals.
- A flexible invoicing system to create both intermediate and final invoices.
- Full reporting facilities to retrieve general or specific information about a project and display it in a number of different ways.
